Gail O’Brien has been featured in the Inner West Courier about her new role at Lifehouse. Jillian McKee talks to Gail about how she is able to bring her personal experience with cancer to bear on her role as patient advocate.
“Hopefully we can take some pressure off families that are a bit lost and frightened. We have the most magnificent staff but they are so busy and can’t do everything so I hope I will be able to help”, says Gail.
Ashfield resident Mark Dolahenty said “We all know what Gail has been through so she is someone you can trust and tell her what you really need,” Mr Dolahenty said.
