Our Patient Shuttle Bus

Chris O’Brien Lifehouse provides a free shuttle bus service for patients travelling between Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and Central Station.

  • Chris O’Brien Lifehouse pick up and drop off: Outside the Patient Transport Waiting Lounge, opposite reception on the ground floor.
  • Central Station pick up and drop off: The taxi rank on the Western Forecourt.

Patient Pick-up & Drop-off

Chris O’Brien Lifehouse has a free 15-minute pick-up and drop-off zone located at the front entrance of the building on Salisbury Road.

If you have difficulty finding parking, please call our Patient and Visitor Information and Support Centre on (02) 8514 0116. One of our trained volunteers will meet you or our loved one at the drop-off zone outside the front of the building on Salisbury Road. They can either stay with the patient or escort them to their destination, alleviating the stress of finding a parking spot.

Ticketless Parking

Parking at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse is now fully ticketless, using advanced number plate recognition for seamless entry and exit.

It is important that you remember or write down your number plate to validate your parking when you check-in for your appointment, treatment, and/or procedure, and to pay for your parking at the pay stations.

Parking Rates for COBL Underground Car Park

Monday to Friday

  • Patient Parking $5/hr – maximum daily cap $25/day
  • Visitor Parking $20/hr – maximum daily cap $120

After Hours Parking: Flat rate $25 (Monday to Friday, enter after 5pm and exit before 8am next day)

  • Patients $5 per hour, with a maximum daily cap of $25
  • Visitors flat rate $25

Weekend parking

  • Patients $5 per hour, with a maximum daily cap of $25
  • Visitors flat rate $25

Please note that all credit card payments will incur a surcharge fee.

Patient Parking: Please validate your parking with one of our friendly reception staff when you check-in for your appointment, procedure and/or treatment.

Visitor Parking: Unfortunately, subsidised parking is not available for visitors or patients attending appointments at places other than Chris O’Brien Lifehouse.
