New sarcoma trial at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse cancer hospital and RPA

Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and RPA cancer specialists and young people with sarcoma cancer are trying out a new way of combating the deadly and historically-neglected tumour, with an innovative study starting in Australia.
Researchers inject tumours with a nano-particle activated by radiation therapy to shrink the cancer tumour, making the following surgery more effective.
