For World Cancer Day our brave nurses chose to support Lifehouse by shaving or colouring their hair. Nurse Unit Manager, Bec Lever was joined by 10 of her colleagues as Team Theatres, shaving or colouring their heads live in our Lifehouse Education Centre.
Marc Monsell (who also dyed his beard pink), Peter Pine, Dylan Appelqvist, Elliot Hamilton Brown, Troy Menday, Dersjel Sowden and Daniel Satherley all shaved their heads. Abi Altemirano, Virginia Marshall and Jaime Lomax chose to dye their locks hot pink. They raised an amazing amount – over $17,000 which will make a real difference to the patients they see each day.
