Amanda is a Rehabilitation Medicine and Pain Medicine Specialist, and has been working in the field of cancer pain and cancer rehabilitation for 10 years.  For patients experiencing severe cancer related pain, they can access consultations for pain advice at any time in their cancer treatment journey; at time of diagnosis; pre-surgery pain advice; post-surgery and at any time when living with distressing pain impacting on day-to-day activities.  Pain management includes medication trials when appropriate and also learning other strategies to reduce pain and distress. Amanda works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to teach non-pharmacological strategies for managing pain.
