Since completing my nursing degree I have had a wide variety of experience which includes intensive care, paediatrics, cardiology and haematology/oncology where I have worked for the last ten years. I have held varied positions within medical oncology including clinical trials, chemotherapy treatment centre as a a nurse specialist and and nurse educator. I have been the lung cancer nurse specialist since its commencement at Lifehouse in May of 2019.

My particular interests include psychological support and advocacy of patients and their families with lung cancer. I am also interested in increasing awareness of this highly stigmatised in the general community.  Hopefully this leads to more  compassion, research and support.
