    Caitlin Delaney

Caitlin is an IVF Scientist from Sydney, who has established and managed top IVF clinics around the world for the past 20+ years. In 2017, at age 39, Caitlin was diagnosed with stage 4 clear cell ovarian cancer, when her daughters were just two and four years old. The compassionate care she has been fortunate to receive at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse led her to found CareFully, with a vision to make compassionate care a core competency for the healthcare industry in Australia.

Caitlin’s unique dual insight as both a healthcare professional and patient enables her to be a vocal advocate for patients – and for compassionate care. She has delivered numerous inspiring and engaging presentations, including to the Prime Minister at Parliament House, and was a lead presenter and Regional Coordinator for ANZGOG’s ‘Survivors Teaching Students’ program.

Caitlin works with various organisations including Pink Hope, Ovarian Cancer Australia, ANZGOG, AstraZeneca, The Kids’ Cancer Project, Monash University, NSW Health, and Rare Cancers Australia, where Caitlin is a member of the Patient Advisory Board.

Caitlin is a fierce advocate for increased awareness, funding for research, methods of earlier detection, and better treatments and understanding of all cancers. She is particularly passionate about improving equity across the cancer care continuum.
