    Dr Mousina is a highly qualified surgeon, having earned three degrees. She completed an undergraduate degree in Medical Science with First Class Honours from UNSW in 2003, focusing her thesis on oncogenic viruses in hormone-dependent cancers. She went on to obtain a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Sydney in 2008, followed by a Master’s degree in Advanced Surgery (Breast) in 2021 from the same institution.

    Dr Mousina has extensive surgical training. She began her junior medical training in 2009 and subsequently undertook specialist surgical training, becoming a consultant general surgeon and obtaining Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) in 2017.

    She further developed her expertise in breast surgery, oncoplastic techniques, and breast reconstruction through the BreastSurgANZ program. Over three years of subspecialty training, she worked at leading institutions including Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Royal North Shore, Mater, Hornsby, and Westmead hospitals. During this time, Dr Mousina also served as Surgical Superintendent at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, was a Melanoma Fellow at the Melanoma Institute Australia, coordinated the general surgical fellowship exam, and became a senior lecturer at the University of Sydney, where she now coordinates the Breast Masters Surgery programme. She is a member of Breast Cancer Trials, the Australasian Society for Breast Disease (ASBD), BreastSurgANZ, and RACS.

    Dr Mousina is a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Strathfield Private Hospital, and Prince of Wales Private Hospital. She also holds VMO positions at BreastScreen NSW and the Sydney Breast Clinic.

    Dedicated to providing evidence-based care, Dr Mousina offers compassionate and comprehensive treatment for all her patients. She is deeply committed to women’s health and patient education.
