Stephen obtained his medical degree at the University of Sydney. He completed neurology training at Westmead and St. George Hospital and subsequently the Professor John Morris Movement Disorders Fellowship at Westmead Hospital. He also completed his PhD in neuroimaging biomarkers in pre-clinical Parkinson’s disease under the supervision of Professors Tony Broe and Olivier Piguet.
In addition to working in private practice in Sydney and Tamworth, he is a staff specialist and Head of the Movement Disorders unit at St. George Hospital. He is also the NSW councillor on the MDSANZ executive.
