    Tim is a qualified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and has completed degrees in both medicine (University of Wollongong) and dentistry (Griffith University). Tim has completed additional years of subspecialty training in head and neck surgery, managing both the removal and reconstruction of pathology in the head and neck region. In addition to his subspecialty interests, Tim continues to practice the full-scope of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery including the removal of impacted/difficult teeth, placement of dental implants and management of facial trauma.

    Tim has a strong academic background, having been awarded the Robert M Cook for the highest mark in his fellowship examination. He is actively involved in the training of registrars and participates as an instructor on EMST and CCrISP courses.

    Tim is an active member of the Oral and Maxillofacial community. He is involved in the teaching of registrars and coordinates the Australian and New Zealand program for providing online education. He currently serves on a number of positions on college committees and representing Oceania on the Next Generation committee for the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. At Chris O’Brien Lifehouse Hospital, Tim is the clinical lead for the Dentofacial clinic and Integrative Prosthetics and Reconstruction teams.
