Dr Georgia Harris is an experienced radiation oncologist based at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. She graduated with honours from the University of Sydney and completed specialist training in radiation oncology at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. She then undertook a post-graduate Fellowship at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Canada. Georgia has been a Staff Specialist Radiation Oncologist with Chris O’Brien Lifehouse since May 2018.
Georgia’s clinical experience covers a broad range of solid tumour malignancies, with a special clinical interest in breast cancer. She also has keen interests in neurological malignancies as well as palliative radiotherapy. Georgia works as part of multi-disciplinary teams, providing tailored treatment to oncology patients. She is passionate about patient-centred care, and the provision of high-quality radiotherapy treatment through technical innovation.
Georgia is actively involved in clinical trials and is a Radiation Oncology co-chair with the eviQ Cancer Institute of NSW. She is a Clinical Senior Lecturer with the Sydney University Central Clinical School, and Examiner with the Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists Faculty of Radiation Oncology.
