Dr Ilias Kotronakis is a specialist plastic surgeon. He has special interests in reconstructive surgery, including skin cancer, head and neck cancer, and facial surgery. He has a particular focus in aesthetic reconstruction after cancer excision.

Dr Kotronakis grew up in Sydney. He completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney, and his junior medical officer training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He subsequently trained as a specialist plastic surgeon with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, with further study at the Imperial College in London.

He is appointed as a plastic surgeon at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Royal Prince Alfred and St George Hospitals, where he is involved in the training of future plastic surgeons.
