Julia completed her training in ear, nose and throat surgery in 2013 before undertaking a two year fellowship in Orlando, Florida in Advanced Head and Neck Cancer Ablative and Reconstructive surgery and Trans-oral robotic surgery under Prof J Scott Magnuson and A/Prof Hilliary White.

Julia has a special interest in the role of trans-oral robotic surgery for human papilloma virus related head and neck cancers and trains other surgeons in this technique both nationally and internationally.
