    Dr Nima Ahmadi is a General, Colorectal, and Peritonectomy Surgeon with expertise in minimally invasive techniques for both benign and malignant conditions. He specialises in advanced colorectal and peritoneal cancers, benign colorectal conditions, diverticular disease, and perianal conditions, including fistulas, fissures, and haemorrhoids. His expertise also extends to hernia surgery and diagnostic and interventional colonoscopy, with accreditation from the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA).

    Dr Ahmadi became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) in 2016 and completed specialist Colorectal Surgery training through the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ) in 2019. His advanced training included fellowships at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, The Tweed/John Flynn Hospitals, and Basingstoke Hospital in the UK, where he gained significant experience in laparoscopic and robotic surgery as well as advanced peritoneal oncology procedures.

    Academically, Dr Ahmadi holds a Master of Surgery (2016) and a Master of Philosophy (Medicine) (2023). He is actively involved in research, with multiple publications on colorectal conditions, and plays a key role in clinical trials.
