Sandy has been a clinician, educator, and researcher with the Supportive Care team at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse since 2015. Driven by a passion for early intervention, she played a key role in establishing the Lymphoedema Early Intervention Program (LEAP), designed to educate and support patients following their diagnosis.
With extensive and varied experience, Sandy brings a broad perspective on the challenges posed by a cancer diagnosis. Her expertise has led her to speak at industry events, participate in podcasts, and deliver education seminars. She is also actively involved in lymphoedema research, contributing to best practice guidelines and improving patient care.
A lifelong advocate for fitness and nutrition, Sandy takes particular satisfaction in inspiring patients to take proactive steps towards enhancing their overall wellbeing.
