Suzanne Storrie
Chair of the Board
Suzanne is a non-executive director, entrepreneur, executive coach and mentor with clients across Australia, New Zealand and the USA.
She has previously served on the boards of Surf Life Saving Australia (Chair, Surf Sports Australia; member of Finance, Audit and Compliance Committee, Honours and Awards Committee, Information, Communication and Technology governance group; and co-founder of the National SLSA Women’s Mentoring Program), Jarden Australia Advisory Board, The McGrath Foundation (Chair, Risk, Investment and Audit Committee), The University of Sydney Business School Advisory Board, St Joseph’s College Foundation (Chair, Indigenous Education Fund), Commonwealth Bank Group Superannuation Fund (Chair, Risk and Audit Committee), Supply Nation and Qantas Superannuation Fund.
She has more than 30 years of experience as a senior finance and operations executive, leading strategic transformation and technology change in complex, high profile and highly regulated industries (CBA and IAG, NRL, Qantas, Leightons, Unisys). In 2020, she led IAG’s COVID-19 Response Team as the Crisis Director reporting to the CEO. Suzanne has also been the Chair or a member of several corporate diversity and inclusion councils, engaging senior leaders to improve workplace cultures through increased diversity, inclusion and belonging.
She co-founded Un Retreat, a weekend leadership and health retreat, which was named one of the “World’s Best Wellness Retreats for 2023” and now runs retreats, workshops and events at Twin Figs Farm on the South Coast of NSW.
In 2019, Suzanne was awarded the Information Services Group (ISG) Australia and New Zealand Paragon Leadership Award and life membership of Surf Life Saving Australia. She is also an AFR/Westpac 100 Women of Influence (Boards and Management) and was the Australian Surf Life Saver of the Year in 1996.
